Summary/Note
Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was the last prophet of Allah.
When he started preaching Islam, the people of Makkah turned against him. He
then migrated to Medina, this event is called the Hijra. In Medina, he founded
an Islamic society. In the 10th Hijra, he performed Hajj with his
followers. He gave a sermon on Mount Arafat. The main points of his last sermon
are as follows . Allah is the only God. None shares His authority. The
superiority of man is not based on blood or wealth. Only the goodness of a man
makes him superior to others. All Muslims are brothers. The most righteous is
the most honourable. The Quran is a permanent source of guidance for mankind.

Ans. The Holy Prophet asked the Quraish not to worship there false Gods but to worship the One and only true God and to accept him as the Prophet of God. So they oppose the new religion of Islam and their fierce and terrible oppositions made it impossible for the Prophet (P.B.U.H) to continue being in Makkah and compelled him to leave that city, Makkah.
